The folder said "Teacher (name)." Everyone knew where it was. It was located on the computer network shared by all work computers. I know, because I put it there, and I named it. It was there so that, should a teacher want to use it, they could find it on any computer they chose to use. It was simple and effective. So much so, that a good few hours were spent producing and saving documents for forthcoming classes in it. It was imperative that nothing was messed around with, for these were really quite important documents.
So..... robotic-receptionist-girl moved the folder. She didn't actually tell anyone she had moved it. Nor did she bother to remember where she moved the folder to. In fact, why would anyone need to actually remember where they had put important documents belonging to other people?
Why the hell, indeed?
A few hours of panicking and fruitless searching later, and, with the communication skills that are just so well-developed in this god-forsaken land... she sighed, and said "Oh, I think there must be a virus." That was it. Not even a hint that perhaps she was the hand behind the mislaid files. Oh yes, a virus that ONLY deletes a very select, uhm... well, only one folder.
In a whole computer of folders... yes... that would be right.
