Wasting time is a wonderful thing. It really is. Have you ever considered the number of hours spent on google, facebook, bebo, blogs, or wandering aimlessly amongst cyberspace.... just spent doing bugger-all?
In the last 3 hours I've managed to complete Dr. Phil's personality test 4 times. I'm vain and self-centred, apparantly. I'm not happy about that - I wanted to be generous and kind (and maybe a bit cool and sexy, too). Dr. Phil begs to differ, I see. Although, anyone who completes the personality test 4 times and consistently gets the same results is bound to be vain and self-centred.... I guess I'll have to live with it.
Still, I don't entirely trust Dr. Phil. If he's so smart then why doesn't he look like Einstein? All brainiacs look like Einstein, or the guy from 'Honey I Shrunk the Kids'. It's a universal fact. But Dr. Phil looks like a really really dull Maths teacher, with an air of serial killer about him. Not eccentric or vaguely cool, like the guy from 'Numbers'. Or even slightly (but ever so entertainingly) deranged, like Dr. Who. See, if it was The Doctor telling me I was vain and self-centred I might actually believe him.
However, in the last 3 hours I've also managed to virtually hug several friends (tell me, would a vain and self-centred person do that?), and look for flights home. Well, I say look - I went online and went to the e-bookers website, and then failed to find anything because I got side-tracked by Dr. Phil.
Now I'm off to make a cup of tea (all in the name of procrastination) and perhaps do some flight searches after I've found something else entirely pointless to do.
