The guidebook said that Taiwan offers a rich and enviable selection of delicacies with influences from all over Asia. It claimed (rather erroneously, I think) that Taiwan could rival Hong Kong for a sheer plethora of culinary delights.
So could someone please explain how fried egg, kiwi fruit and tuna fish ended up in a sandwich?
Seriously?
Update (Oct 16th) - Today it was bacon, kiwi fruit and dried pork.
